New app store allows to use apps without download and developers are
getting submitted freely.
Digital payment firm Paytm has launched new war against Google and its
Play store with launch of its Android Mini App store and to support Indian app
developers to take their own product to public. Instead of allowing to native
app, Mini App Store is links to Progressive Web Apps that running with help of
browsers without requiring any download.
Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder and CEO at Paytm himself explained, Paytm
has been decided to make something great and help the Indian developers,
business with low cost and link to their own website with PWA. For Mini App Store users, it will be a good
experience, no more data and space needed.
Paytm said, in app payment options include Paytm Wallet, UPI, Paytm
payment Bank with very low as 2 per cent charges plus GST with payment of
credit, debit, and net banking.
The Indian developers and tech entrepreneurs plan to foyer government
and reach up with an alternative to Google. Now Paytm listed on the mini store,
that mostly government supporting apps.
In recent, Google Play Store temporarily removed Paytm app for violating
guideline and policies on real money gaming.
On 29 September, Google announced an enforced terms and condition that Google Play app developers must fit with Google Play’s billing for their app for running the functionality or any payments and pay 30 percent fee for apps. This force crashed Paytm to new venture.
